Well, in that case the Corporate system has a lot to answer for in regards to Yugoslavia. While it may have been a NATO sponsored action supposedly aimed at compelling the Serbian dominated Yugoslav federation to accept an internationally brokered peace accord meant to resolve civil conflict in Kosovo, in reality I think it did nothing more than kill innocents. I'm getting to the point where I dread NATO resolutions and actions let alone those of the U.S. While America may be the strongest militarily in the world and many in the world feel it has a moral right to fight injustice in the world, I disagree. There are always two sides (at least) to every story and the U.S. seldom (if ever) makes the right choice. NATO and the U.S. both seem to focus on human rights violations where it is most politically expedient and the results seldom seem to be better than the actions that brought on the NATO action. Few countries in the world today avoid internal conflicts due to U.S. or NATO pressure and terrorism has only grown.

People in the world are always calling on the U.S. to rescue them from internal strife and conflict and the results are often disastrous. American sympathy is often raised by erroneous news reports that are more often than not slanted to one side or the other. It would be better in my opinion if the U.S. closed its borders and kept out of future international disagreements and withheld any political backing on any conflict. Let each nation handle its own borders and internal strife. That of course would signify the ending of the U.N. but in reality the U.N. has not done much good lately other than delivering food and medical supplies to countries suffering internal conflicts and there seems to be a lot of misappropriation in that. The majority of the money goes to businessmen and corporations in the U.S. and European countries. Those roles may well be better served by non-profit organizations.

>>>Even knowing that the following statement would affect some “gringos” and their misunderstood patriotism (which is a worldwide shame, another “worldwide achievement”): Terrorism exists because of USA and sporadic “economic allies“. It it's simply as that.

>>That statement about terrorism existing because of the USA and her sporadic allies is just plain wrong. Terrorism did not begin in this world as attacks against the USA and the USA did not create it nor cause its creation. The USA may be guilty of a lot of things, but that is not one of them.

>It's not the USA, it's the corporate system. Simple as that: install a friendly dictator in one country, make sure he goes to war with a neighboring country, make sure he takes a loan and squanders it all on weapons and personal wealth, and then remind everybody that countries can't default on their debts. Then if such a country once achieves democracy, make sure IMF never allows it to build a sufficient educational system, health system etc, so that it's never able to get out of debt. Keep them poor forever. Instigate a coup again, if need be.

>If their people get sufficiently pi*sed off, they'll pick a goal which they can achieve - which is not a all-out war, because there's no specific country that did this to them. It's the global corporate and banking system that did it. So they'll aim wherever they know... and there's the terrorism born.
>
>BTW, my country was a target of terrorism back in 70's - we had a bomb planted in a full movie theater, a civilian plane exploding in the air, ambassador in Sweden assasinated, a terrorist group of about 20 commandos inserted in the middle of tourist season. But the training camps for these terrorists were never bombed... we couldn't bomb Germany or Austria, right? And the "civilized world" didn't start hunting these guys, because they were fighters against communism. It did have some media coverage, though - about "don't go to a vacation there, it's unsafe, go to Spain" (where we own the hotels).
>
>As long as there's a will to allow existence of "good terrorists" and "bad terrorists", there will be terrorists.
