Do you want to update the data? Or do you just want to view it?

Having the files on a webserver is probably not the best way to do what you want if you need read/write to the tables. A VPN connection to a server would probably be a better idea. Or you could implement a terminal server setup and connect the clients and run the Visual FoxPro app on the server. Or you could set up a Visual FoxPro com server to go through to communicate with the database.

Probably would help if you gave a scenario as to what overall your need is for the application.

Thanks for the response. I guess I should have been a little clearer below when I said we want to "pull data back and forth". Yes I need to be able to update the data on the backend as well.

I know that having the files on a webserver is not optimal unless probably SQL and I know some run the VFP app on the server but I need to know in the scenario of having a VFP app sitting on a LAN or standalone and having a VFP table sitting on a webserver, what choices are available to me and which one do you think is best.

Thanks!
