Thanks for the reply.

I create the reports and allow the customer to view and print them with the crviewer. I use ODBC to get the data from within my VFP application. Some printers print just fine. Other printers print garbage. From the Crystal Knowledgebase, they acknowledge that CR9 uses UNICODE. I contacted Kyocera Mita (one of the printers that printed garbage), and they said they have now added UNICODE to their print driver. I just wondered if there was a work-around for those printers that do not have UNICODE.
