Assuming the post accurately quotes Ken, I read this as, "unless there are features that could be added to VFP that will convince our target market (existing VFP customers) to upgrade to this version, we won't be releasing it". I'd bet a lot of this hinges on how well VFP 9 does. If a lot of developers don't upgrade, even with all the enhancements to the report writer, I think it's safe to say (again, assuming the quote is accurate) there won't be a VFP 10. If they can't sell to existing VFP developers (which should be EASY compared to selling to new customers), I can understand their decision.
