I am using Dreamweaver MX to build a website, and need to have a local web server in order to test the server-side scripting using PHP. I will not be using the web server once the website is finished (i'll use a web hosing company), but want to be able to test it locally. Therefore, I have installed Apache 2.0.

Is there a security risk to having Apache 2.0 on my computer while I surf the net? If so, can anyone recommend changes in the configuration so the outside world cannot access my computer through Apache? Thanks for you help.

Paul
