Save a copy of the BMP as a MSK file, you can just make the whole MSK black, which will make the BMP retain all it's original colors. If you make some area of the MSK white it will make the BMP mix colors with the background in that area.

>When I develop a system and place pictures on my command buttons, colors are just fine because the backgrounds of the pictures are the standard grey. But when people select strange color schemes for their computers, the buttons change color, and therefore the background of the picture does not match. Is there a way to either force the buttons to stay grey or a way to get the picture's backgrounds to match the selected color. I think the anwer may be in a mask for the .bmp, but I don't understand how these work.
