Wow... puerile.. how long did you search to find that word.

If he had said, in my opinion, or, as Tracy Holzer said in her post-- "most of the developers I know feel", I wouldn't have said anything. It is not only ludicrous but egregious for the pedantic Mr. Nelson to presume to speak for "a majority of VFP Developers worldwide". It doesn't surprise me that the list sycophants spring to his aide.

BTW, see I can use 50 cents words also.

>>As an editor you may have that option. I still think its an invalid supposition to say that a majority of anyone feels anyway based on your feelings.

>>I bet that half of the VFP Programmer's out there could care less about VFP/.net interop. I'm not basing that supposition on anything except a SWAG. There is no validity, there can be no arguing with a point that has no basis in fact.

>To disagree with someone’s opinion is quite acceptable. To ask someone for evidence of a comprehensive survey of 50,000 VFP developers is infantile. David Stevenson correctly pointed out where latitude should be given but you chose to ignore the sage words. If Jim Nelson had started his post with “In my opinion” instead of “I have to say that” – I’m betting your response would have been pretty much the same i.e. puerile.
