Have you tried setting the custom paper size in your printer driver. This is what I do with my labels. They are three across 2x4 inch labels and the driver does not have a standard size that fits that. So I defined my own custom size and then in VFP it used that to layout it's labels. It is pretty slick actually. It supports both inches and metric. You have to tweek the numbers a bit as far as spacings between labels but it might simplify your label making.
