That's exactly what we do. I'm pretty impressed by what we can achieve. Did some more tests last night and are pretty happy the beep was causing the problem. So no urgent need to upgrade that part of the business to VFP - I can concentrate on other bits which do need the time and attention. Nice getting your opinion by the way - Sarah
