Dear Kevin,

First, my use of "may" in both clauses clearly shows I am not trying to speak with authority. Why do you feel the need to sensationalize like that?

Second, if there were truly a threat to you and your family, it is not made to go away by banning him from UT. Some might argue that banning him makes the risk worse. Of course, one would have to actually believe there is a risk before such a conclusion could be drawn. Somebody who just wants to sensationalize and milk the situation would be satisfied about the ban.

I agree about the changing messages, but since an author has no way to know that somebody has started responding, I don't see how there could be anything underhand or sinister in an author changing their message in the few minutes after their original post. I also see no way to avoid concurrency issues in a stateless interface like a browser.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
