Why do you assume the 2010 support date is the only information he is bringing to the meeting?

If you are looking for a message from MS - that is all you have - and it is not much at that... Note the following:

1. MS has stated that the strategic focus is .NET.
2. Fox is not .NET
3. Even without #2, MS has stated that Fox is not part of the stratgic focus of MS.

Like it or not, I am a Fox developer. I am also a VB, .NET, SQL Serve, and Oracle Developer. I guarantee you, you could bring ANYTHING to the table - and I could counterany pro-VFP argument that would be brought to the table.

If I were to stay in this business, I would make a specialty in advertising services that would re-write Fox apps in .NET. Is there any serious doubt that would not be fertile ground or that it would be successful????

Why do you assume that there is a .Net guy lurking about it, this not in PA? Maybe there is a Linux guy lurking, maybe no one, it does not matter, it was a VFP question not a what should I use question.

The technology does not matter... Whether it is the windows or linux platform, whether it is .NET or Java, Fox still comes out on the short end of the argument.
