Why do you assume the 2010 support date is the only information he is bringing to the meeting?

Why do you assume that there is a .Net guy lurking about it, this not in PA? Maybe there is a Linux guy lurking, maybe no one, it does not matter, it was a VFP question not a what should I use question.

I know that "supported until 2010" does help non-technical people deal with the claims from the .Net guys that VFP is dead in 1-2 years.

The point is a specific question was asked. No attempt to answer his question was given, a rational for using .Net was given.

It is easy to start a new thread.
