I doubt everyone, but I for one, just started ignoring him some time ago. Even personal messages here and in private emails went unread.

I agree that the technical messages of his postings were dead on. However, much of the other stuff (and that turns out to be ALOT more than the technical postings) was questionable...and I can show that at least on one occassion, he outright lied in a posting to me.

For me, his leaving will make it easier to use the UT for what it was designed for.
