There is one "little" point you forget to mention. After the last ejection, Michel eventually relented and let him back. Poor old Michel must be wishing he never did that- because then he wouldn't have to stay up late trawling messages to try to restore order, or field this latest furore.

Which is why I think this fuss is counterproductive- unless you are deliberately besieging UT management for some unspoken reason, in which case the only outcome I see is that as human beings they will become ever-more implacable about rules to ensure they never have to put up with this again. Which means you are making it worse.

It is all very well for you; you only ever pop into the VFP board occasionally for political reasons, but those of us who participate professionally are better served if UT management can start to relax and if everything goes back to normal. Manoevre all you like behind the scenes; and who knows, somebody so persuasive as "you know who" may be able to persuade Michel to take a risk and allow a second coming... but the longer the current wasps nest lasts, the less likely that seems. Think about it.
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
"
