Hi Nick,

I wish it would be true for my 5 old son. He knows letters from the age of 2, but he can not put them together. Unfortunately, I can not teach him read in English, because I have problems reading correctly in English myself. I often catch myself that I start doubting if I read correctly even common word. If I see a new complicated word, I still have troubles. I forgot all the rules how to read correctly and besides there are lots of exceptions anyway.

However, I would appreciate if somebody can give me a quick lesson how to read. May be from this forum I'll remember.
