>I have GMail from Google as one of my email accounts and they have a great way of using "labels" on messages. You can add as many labels as you want to an email and then just archive it. I guess it wouldn't be practical, but it would be kind of cool if there was a way to have multiple titles (labels) on threads. There could be the primary one it was created under and sub-level ones if drift occurs. Probably hard to administer though.

When the search was implemented, we thought about having another field with keywords in regards to a thread. We figured out that this field would probably be left empty most of the time and, as the topic of a thread is changing a lot, only the first message would probably be the one which would rely on the keywords, in some cases.

We also want to make it easy for member to post a question. If we have keywords, version, service pack and fields like that, many new members would simply be afraid of using this product or maybe should I say intimidated by the amount of requested fields just to post a question, where in most cases, we are in a hurry to get the response.
