>The point is that you are selective in thanking people. You have not said thanks to anybody who had constructive suggestions! I think that I was one of those people and, as a matter of fact, it really irritates me that you haven't.

Over the years, some suggestions and follow up threads took up to two years before getting implemented. Yours are not decided yet and if they are created in a new thread, it will be better to find and manage them. Not all suggestions are implemented.

>Your remark that the best way for suggestions is creating a new thread is noted. But as a matter fact I have done that several times recently! You have shown no indication of appraisal at all. You were nowhere. So, is it really the best way???

I was in my chair reading as much as I can (missed a lot of messages however) and processing UT management business. There is no guideline which tells that a message should be answered, if answered, within a specific timeframe.

>There have been many messages lately in which people (whereunder me) have asked you to react, or hoped that you would. However, you have been absent lately to the extreme. I assume that you thought it wiser not to jump in, in order to prevent even further hot debates.

Not related, nothing forces us to respond to everything (despite that we target to respond on everything) or to justify any of our actions, which was one of the main concerns I seem to have understood from a few members. Most of those concerns have been answered in our released document that we did earlier this week.

If you wish to send suggestions, you may keep them coming. You may create a new thread and ask one suggestion per thread. That will make things easier for us and for anyone to comment on it.

As for the concerns of the "Why?"s that some have expressed, our management actions are not to be discussed or justified in public. If we do, it's something exceptionnal.
