Has anyone distributed a VFP8 app and ran it on client workstations with celeron chips, Windows XP home, and 128-256mb ram with no problems? If not, were there problems with delays, slow responses, or lockups? Just curious... so far we have not had any problems but since print rendering is done on the workstation when printing reports and there may be a lot of traffic back and forth on multi-user systems it appears that celeron chips may not be ideal for this and Pentium IV chips may be a better idea. The question is whether or not to require Pentium IV processors... We have some Pentium III systems running fine but the celeron systems do appear to become sluggish by the end of the day... Ideas???
