>>My husband always leaves for a vacation after working through the night before. He says he's too tired to get jet lag that way! (I think he just wants me to be responsible for the tickets and luggage) :-)

>If it really takes you A MONTH to adapt to daylight savings time, then travel to Europe or even central Canada would, perforce, be even harder. It sounds as if you have already come up with a solution to your problem: when daylight savings time is about to begin or end, sleep 3-4 hours/night for 4 nights.

I'm amazed you people are so sensitive to firmness of your habits. I've noticed that my cycle is about 24.5 to 25 hours long (i.e. left to myself, I always go to sleep and wake up at least half an hour later then the day before), but then I can interrupt it in a day and start getting up at seven or even five. Then it takes me just a few days to get back to sleeping from 2AM.

Gee, we're changing habits of so many people (by introducing computers in most unbelievable places, inventing new interfaces) and it seems to be our habits are the most stubborn.

[I think I've used up my quota of sociological remarks for this month. See you in May]
