A big thanks to all those who offered suggestions for creating an ASCII viewer as well as for printing reports correctly in a dot matrix printer. I am happy to report that we now have a solution that works for us. At the moment it is based on Codemine classes, but as soon as possible I'll change to basic VFP classes and post it.

Special thanks to Plinio Fermin who offered a key suggestion: keep editing reports with FP DOS 2.6 instead of migrating them, which would change them to VFP format. Maybe VFP 9.0 will solve that.

The other key point is to use the RTF box to view the ASCII report, instead of the edit box, which doesnt have a horizontal scrollbar.
