Its not my golbal test, its a term that the president latched onto in order to scare americans into believing Kerry is not as big of a bad-ass as Bush. I have no idea what it really means.

Iraq was clearly not a defensive move, it was not done to clean up curruption. I thought the rational was that a group of countries (UN) voted and Iraq was not cooperating and we needed to take action. Why should any country comply with the UN if the US has no concern for the UN decisions or international will? To be it sounds like the message is we have one standard for the rest of the world and one standard for ourselves, and we can do that because of our strength.

>>If I had a chance I would like to ask the president why he believes the US does not need to pass a global test or answer to anyone else in the world while other nations such as those in his "axis of evil" are required to do so. Can there be any answer other than that we can get away with it because we are stronger?

>>Since you sound like you are on the same page as the president on the rights of the US vs the rights of the rest of the world maybe you could help me understand his rational.

>I think its pretty clear now, knowing what we know about France and the back door deals and money etc with IRaq, the ongoing Oil for Food UN corruption.... This is is serious serious stuff......... The president is telling the American people and the world that No country or group of countries would ever have a vote in whether or not the USA will be able to defened herself anywhere on this planet !
