It would be a real shame if American citizens actually lost rights because the U.S. signed the ICC treaty in an attempt to further the International Human Rights Law, now wouldn't it? I do not understand your comment. How does not signing the ICC treaty until it guarantees the same rights as our Bill of Rights denounce our participation in either items below? You cannot take away one right in order to give another....

It's clear to me anyhow that no Democratic/Republican administration is ever going to try an American politician for war crimes(too many bones in closet for both parties). At least we would be seen less as hypocrites and would no longer have to listen to American politicians babbling about human rights.
