I have a drop list on my form.

In VFP i was able to specify multiple columns for the drop list portion of a droplist.

It appears in .NET i can't do this.

I have a table that has the following fields.

Year, Make, Model, Stocknumber

I want to display in the drop list the year,make,model and then when the user selects an item i will display the Stocknumber as the final result.

I am am currently doing, is building a large string as a column, and returning a unique ID, as the value.

so i can find the exact record in my vehicle table.

Is this the only way to do it???
