Rod, it is not my intention to polemicize, but when you first posted about this paint.net, I was creating some icons for our application, so I decided to take a look at it. And although I found it interesting, the constant flickering of the main controls (Colors, History, Layers and Tools) when you put a big image (I just copied the screen, 1024x988, to the clipboard and pasted it) is it intolerable, is like having your monitor in 30 Hz refresh rate, making it, IMO a bad example of fast GUI interface.
