I am going to check my DevExpress Controls to see if they have a multi-column drop list. I thought having the columns was a basic function, i guess, i was spoiled in VFP.

If I recall, it was a container that,when you clicked on the down-arrow, would popup up a listview or something like that. I never used it, but as I recall, it looked pretty decent. If you go to their site and do a search on multi-column and dropdown, you might be able to find it.
