Hmmmmm, I'm not sure. I did it again where I right clicked on an html email that had graphics, looked at view source and could see it had lots of links to graphics. Then I closed that, did a select all on the email and pasted it into Word and all of the graphics, etc were pasted in the document just fine.

I could tell however, that Word was reloading the images when my email had the image come right up. I bet that when a html email is read, the images are loaded and saved. Word looks back at them and loads them. Maybe, the images that are in the email are no longer located at the source.

You could try, viewing the source, and saving that code as a html doc and seeing if Explorer can reread them. If not, then that is why.

Looking at the preferences you can set in Word, I'm not seeing something that would turn that off or on.

>>On a computer I have with Outlook 2000 and Office 2000, it copied an email with graphics and pasted it into Word just fine. The only thing I can think of off hand is, I seem to remember somewhere in my preferences I told Outlook to use Word as my mail editor. Maybe that makes a difference.

>>>I have a message in Outlook2000 that contains ghraphics (some screendumps). I want to copy the content of the message (select all) to Word and I surprised by the results. The text is copied, the graphics are not.
>>>However, if I past the (same clipboard content) to a new mail message the graphics are shown.

>>>What am I missing here? Why doesn't this work? Any suggestions are welcome.
