The chief weapons inspector said last week that Iraq NEVER had weapons of
mass destruction because the 12 years of sactions worked. Iraq said all
along they had no WMD's.

I serverd in the 1st gulf war. I saw firsthand the state of the Iraqi
military BEFORE we destroyed them. They were no threat to us then 3 years
ago.

We attacked them anyway.

I believe they WERE there, but it took so long to mount the offense, the weapons were moved to Syria, and possibly other countries. I hope we never bend to the will of the UN. We are a soverign country and the only super power. Besides that, what other country has the track record of the US for defeating an evil regime, then pouring billions into that country to rebuild it and help set up a government that lets that country's people run it? Answer? Certainly not France, or Germany. And most definitely not
