After 9-11-2001, it's not wise to make threats, even if you don't have any intention of actually carrying out your threats. Especially if you're already on the US black list.

It's like a police officer holding up a criminal who happens to have a toy gun, except the police officer doesn't know that its a toy.

I think it's it easy for other countries to be critical of the US action in Iraq because they are not the primary target of the "terrorists". When the "terrorist" talk about how they hate the Western culture, they're really taling about the USA.

>That is a very good point and today many forget the impression of the existance of wmds in IRAQ everyone had in the past...don't forget the Iraqi generals that escaped and reported on their existence as well as Saddam's own son in laws (who were later killed in front of their wives) when they returned to Iraq. There were many 'reliable' sources of information that were used to come to that 'wrong' conclusion. Personally, I am still of the belief that they DID exist but they are now in Syria and Iran.

>>>... There was no evidence of WMD, there was no evidence of support of terrorism in iraq. That is a fact. And even bush can not deny it. Iraq was not a thread to the US. There are a lot of other countries who are [Iran, North korea, Saudi arabia]. Might it be that bush was finishing the job of his father ???

>>Saddam for years acted like he had them by restricting the inspectors and moving cargos around before the inspectors arrived and not submitting documents of WMD status.
