>Do you have any statistics as to how many members were using each mode? After all, it meant we had to change something in the Settings if we *didn't* want virtual mode, so it seems to me that you'd know how many didn't want to use it. Did you specifically *ask* any of us if we wanted this change? Why did you change it anyway? If it ain't broke, don't fix it!! <g>

Yes, we have. This old mode was not the default mode since a few years now. Only one or two members switched to that mode on all those new accounts that were created since then.

Yes, we also requested the help of the members to know what they would like to have as far as new options go in order to ease the transition for them to this mode. So far, forum ordering and coloring syntax have been added. As mentioned to David, we'll do more. Simply let us know what could be added so you'll be ok with this mode.

As mentioned in the first thread in regards to this, the support for that old mode had to be removed for various reasons. Economical support of problems and confusion it caused to members who were still using that mode were two of them. There are times when we need to remove old stuff. We supported it for about four years now after the actual mode came in. We also went online and asked members to collaborate to help us define new options for them to ease the transition. So, we'll continue even if we made the switch. Simply, let us know and we'll see about easing that part.
