Michel,

>Yes, we have. This old mode was not the default mode since a few years now. Only one or two members switched to that mode on all those new accounts that were created since then.

But what about old members that still used the old mode? I'm sure there were more than one or two members!!! I've seen more than a few complaints about this change already.

>Yes, we also requested the help of the members to know what they would like to have as far as new options go in order to ease the transition for them to this mode. So far, forum ordering and coloring syntax have been added.

Seems like that was after the fact, after you already did away with the old mode, because I don't remember seeing any such discussion. Although I may have missed these discussions if they were prior to the change.

>Simply let us know what could be added so you'll be ok with this mode.

I'm *not* OK with this mode, but I guess I'm stuck with it. =(

>>As mentioned in the first thread in regards to this, the support for that old mode had to be removed for various reasons. Economical support of problems and confusion it caused to members who were still using that mode were two of them.

You never mentioned these "reasons" until now. I don't see what the confusion could possibly be since the virtual mode was the default anyway. Anyone switching to the old mode would know what they were getting into prior to switching and obviously preferred the old mode to the virtual mode, otherwise they wouldn't have changed their settings! What can the ecomonical reasons possibly be? Seems to me it cost you more in time changing things to get rid of this feature!
