Yes, I would imagine that most people would like to see what replies exist when they click on a collapsed message. If it's a setting that we can adjust then you'd avoid problems for people that like the current behavior.

But this is a one way feature right, it only expands the thread if it's collapsed, it doesn't collapse an expanded thread.
