>we all use MS HTML Help Workshop for creating of CHM.
>Ussually I use word to create pages(documents) and save them in HTML format
>Use a XSL to describe tree of documents and topics, references, ect. And made a small VFP program which build CHM from this things.
>WestWind Help is done in similar way
Use Word, to create HTML pages? This inserts a large amount of garbage codes, in my experience. I would recommend FrontPage Express (free, included with IE, but not installed by default), which is relatively clean.
