By my standards there is not more space to go the the right of where the republicans stand right now or you'll enter the area of extreme right of discrimination of ethnic groups, religion and political choice.

Hillary health care was about as liberal as it could get, and as left. I see the Democrat party as headed towards socialism on the way to communism. I have no problem with W's taking us to war after 911. I do have problems with what he has cooperated with on the left. Medicare prescription drugs, Federalizing airport screeners, Signing Campain finance reform to name a few. True conservatism with less government and regulation seems to be MIA.
