I favored a full re-count of every contested state. That Florida's was never completed, with about a 500+ difference, makes me question. Especially in view of the 500,000+ popular vote for Gore.

Those in government are public servants. As such they need to be responsive to the best interests of the public. When the Florida Secretary of State initially blocks the re-counts and delays the process, was she acting as a public servant, or a partisan?
