>>>I favored a full re-count of every contested state. That Florida's was never completed, with about a 500+ difference, makes me question. Especially in view of the 500,000+ popular vote for Gore.

>>>Those in government are public servants. As such they need to be responsive to the best interests of the public. When the Florida Secretary of State initially blocks the re-counts and delays the process, was she acting as a public servant, or a partisan?

>>So George, what's your take on the dems attempt to block the military absentee vote last time, and again in Pennsylvania this time?

>What's your take on the fact they didn't get them sent in on time? Law says they have to have the absentee ballots by a certian time - and they didn't get them on time. Not saying that I wouldn't want them to count - but at the same time you don't bypass certian laws/rules like that when they just happen to fit your needs (they exist for a reason).

My understanding is it's not when they are received, it's when they are postmarked. If they are postmarked by a certain date, they are supposed to be counted, and the dems were trying to preclude those.
