>>I'm well aware of what happened when Cronkite was drummed out of CBS. My point is that Cronkite has recently declined to say much about the Rathergate episode. Do you disagree with that?

Sounds like Cronkite is one of your heros and you don't WANT to hear anything he may have said that was off the chain. It's been widely reported that he had very little to say about rathergate.

>>Also, I noted where president Reagan was supposed to have said Cronkite should have been tried for treason for his reporting of the Tet offensive.

>The only thing I know about this is what I read on the link. However, there are things in that link that make it suspect. For example, while Kitty Kelly was on the Today show for several days, it wasn't simply a blind acceptance of what she wrote. I saw several parts of the interviews with her and they did challenge her on several points.

Where does that quote say anything about CBS being the single cause of our loss of the Vietnam war? Don't know how you got there? As for Kitty Kelly, how many days running did they have her on? How many days did they have the Swiftboat vets on? I think they ran her for about 4 days, and have yet to invite the Swiftboat vets to make an appearance. Are you saying CBS has no liberal bias?
