Cronkite is entitled to his opinion. See my reply to Tracy.

>Where does that quote say anything about CBS being the single cause of our loss of the Vietnam war? Don't know how you got there? As for Kitty Kelly, how many days running did they have her on? How many days did they have the Swiftboat vets on? I think they ran her for about 4 days, and have yet to invite the Swiftboat vets to make an appearance. Are you saying CBS has no liberal bias?

She was on for three days.

See the last paragraph of the link, "CBS has already lost one war for America. The Swift Boat Vets weren't going to let CBS lose another one."

As for the media, a poll a couple of months ago asked news reporters about their personal bias, liberal or conservative. Nationally, they tended to be much more liberal, something up around 90%. Local reporters tended to be more conservative, around 60%.

As I told Tracy, reporting and editorializing are two different things. Unfortunately the media today has forgotten that and often mixes the two.
