Your law also says the ballots have to be sent out by a specific date to those oversees whether they be non-military or military recipients. There were counties in PA that could not do this in time because your Governor filed a lawsuit to get Nader off the ballot. However, the original ballots were sent out on time, they just included Nader. Since he won that suit, the ballots had to be reprinted and re-sent. This delay was well past the statutory deadline which, in this case, means that those ballots will not be received by the statutory deadline through NO fault of their own. Your Governor purposely denied the extension within which to receive those ballots. That is within his power to do so, not to mention he did allow this in the primaries. Sounds like deliberate attempt at disenfranchisement to me, but the mainstream media gives a pass on this since the Gov is a Dem and it suits their agenda.

>Actually, not so in PA. The law here says they have to be received by the county by a specified date (it's the Thursday or Friday before the election). This comes from the PA Dept. of State website:
>
>Absentee Ballot Application Deadlines for Electors in Military Service
>
>Completed absentee ballot applications must be received by the county board of elections no later than 5:00 P.M. on the Friday before Election Day.

>Do post marks count when submitting an absentee ballot application or when returning the actual ballot? No. The absentee ballot application must be in the Election Board Office no later that 5:00 pm on the Tuesday prior to the Election. The actual voted ballot must be in the Election Board Office no later than 5:00 pm on the Friday prior to the Election.
