>True, and you're entitled to the. I was just trying to figure out what he was supposed to have done wrong. I didn't see it as wrong to try to be prepared for possible shortages. I think that is at the core of our differences. Some saw it as greedy, some saw it as a father and husband taking care of his family. I happened to be in the latter category. John was like the rest of us, imperfect. He had a wonderful voice, but many other frailties, like the rest of us. In this instance, I think he did the right thing - provided for his family. If I had the finances, I'd like to have a gas pump at home too. I could buy gas much cheaper.
John;
Speaking of gasoline:
We were in Los Angeles a few days ago. At about 3:30 PM we filled the tank to prepare for our return trip home. As we paid the attendant, another employee increased the price by 10 cents a gallon. Man - talk about dynamic! I guess it was about to be rush hour and time to jack up the price? :)
