OK Dean. But in the end people are dying in the name of religion. I certainly agree with you that it is as wrong now as it was then. For the fanatics on either side it's the end that counts, not the means. That's always bad, in any endeavour.

But one can also research the conditions under which fanaticism flourishes. When everybody has a bmw, a big house, health and wealth then you rarely see religous fanaticism. It's a symptom of a much larger problem.
