I like the idea of individual countries taking on a "big brother" role. Like Italy is close to Sudan, France is close to Algeria, Belgium is close to the Congo (Zaire), the Dutch - South Africa, US - Liberia. The UN is dysfunctional. But if a "big brother" country made a point of keeping tabs on stuff then reported things to the UN before they blew up then this might help.

Big brother? America trys, but I think we pay to much of a price, not mention all the negative repercussions afterwards. Some people are never happy. I think US should stop trying so hard to make the world happy. We are not a genie that people call whenever they need something and complain and bitch afterwards.
