Yes I agree with you. I was just watching Tim Russet last night. The Whiote House says that W got more votes than any previous President. They don't mention that Kerry also got more votes than any previous President.

Now they believe they have a mandate to hammer Iraq even harder.

The unfortunate thing, is that the people who voted for George don't even know where Iraq is. They were voting for "right to life", "anti gay" and "morality". The other issues about the war, unemployment and social security did not resonate with them.

The other issue is that George got the majority of the less educated voters. Voters with University education tended to vote for Kerry. So all the Republicans have to do is keep the schools underfunded and they can stay in forever.

I don't agree that all Presidents are the same. I think Bill Clinton could get his mind around issues and he did improve the environment and Medical Care. I think if he could have stayed in power, 911 would have been handled in a much more intelligent manner.
