You are right, the raw material I guess is a factor.

OK I don't have numbers like you have. My main source of information is Robert J. Kennedy (yes I how he is a Democrat) and he believes that W has put back the regulations 30 years. The people who run each environmental agency in the US are business people heading corporations that will benefit from more relaxed laws on polution. But if Arnold says everything is fine, then it must be fine.

You are right on both counts, Kerry didn't have a plan and Bush had a track record. I can now see why the people had trouble making up their mind.
