How did Rybo-Nucleic-Acid and Dioxy-Nucleic acid survive without their protective cell membrane in such a hostile enviroment? Don't they tend to fall apart very quickly outside their caccoon? So they just floaded around for a few year thousand of years until another mutation occured?
