But it goes both ways. Example:
Spanish: discutir
English: argue (not "discuss" as it may seem at first).

Or the classic:
"Entre y tome asiento"
which means "Enter and find a seat" as opposed to the (joke):
"Between and drink a chair" (a word play on prepositions).
