Mike, I'm not saying I reject most of modern science. I reject any science that doesn't square with the Bible. Too much of it has been disproven. Many of the scientists today (and forever, I guess) are extremely dogmatic. Anyone who has a different take becomes an infidel immediately. Remember how they ridiculed Columbus for thinking the world wasn't flat? Ptolemy said he had counted the stars in the sky and come up with a definite number, Ptolemy counted 1,056. At that time the old testament said the host of heaven cannot be numbered” (Jeremiah 33:22), while also comparing “the sand which is upon the sea shore” to “the stars of the heaven” in multitude (Genesis 22:17).

I profess to know very little about the origin of man, or species, or earth, or much of anything else. It astonishes me though that someone would take a dogmatic position on evolution when therer is so much evidence that shoots holes in the theory. Then to go beserk when someone says, well what about this other theory? That's my problem with the whole argument. Let both sides be fully aired, then let those who want to believe in a particular theory defend their position. I think there has been some "evolution" like the way I'm 6'2" tall whereas my dad was only 5'10". My brothers are both over 6' tall too and I think that has to do with the environment we were raised in, plus the fact that my mom was 5'8" tall. I think you could say people, in general, have evolved into larger beings due to better health and nutrition. As for a person coming from an ape, there's absolutely no proof of that and I doubt there ever will be.
