The old testament was hundreds of years prior to that too and prior to Aristotle or Ptolemy.

Hmmm, another falsity. Here's what the Bible says:

“It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth” (Isaiah 40:22). The word translated “circle” is the Hebrew khug, a more exact connotation of which is “sphericity” or “roundness.” It is also used in Proverbs 8:27: “He set a compass upon the face of the depth [or ‘deep’].” The same word is here translated “compass,” referring to the surface of the ocean taking on a spherical shape (the so-called “sea level”) when God created it."

>That reminds me, Genesis said that God created Heaven and then Earth, and then he created the Sun and the moon and the stars.

"Luke, you have learned well, but you are not yet a jedi! "

You misquote the Bible. (A common debating tactic). I have caught you and exposed your attempt to muddy the water though. Here is the actual quote:
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth"

Heavens is used here in the plural meaning to me - the universe. There is no dogma about the order of creation. The order comes later when it says there was darkness, then He created light. Next he says He created firmament out of the waters. Genesis does give order to the creation of the earth, then the plants and animals. It also says the first came out of the water. "Let the waters bring forth swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the firmament of the heavens."

>Science suggests that the sun and stars are much older than the Earth. This obviouslly does not square with the bible. Do you reject such science?

Science has suggested all kinds of things over the centuries. The Bible has been the same. Which one has changed? From science to history the Bible has held up under scrutiny.
