>>>As I see this problem, it's just a matter of M$'s internal info not having spread where it should. The great things done for VFP within M$ never reach its outer rims. Perhaps M$'s IS isn't working properly - should we write one for them (in VFP or in VB...?).

>>Microsoft is a HUGE worldwide organization. It is connected via an intranet. I'm sure there are many reasons why this problem exists. Two that come to mind are 1) The sales staff gets so much stuff that they can't read it all, and 2) language problems prohibit sales staff in non-English speaking countries from understanding everything.

If the priority was higher, I'm sure the problem would have been solved long ago, considering the resources available. I'd say it's their problem, if it weren't ours, too.

Advertising dollars isn't really the issue...it's where the dollars are spent. IMO, fewer VFP ads in FoxPro Advisor and more elsewhere would help. Microsoft's justifiation in this is that there are still lots of developers that haven't made the switch to VFP. I say, in this case, let the article speak for themselves. When 99% of the articles deal with VFP, the message doesn't need to be repeated in the ads.
