>>>>I'm curious Rich, where do you think morality comes from?
>>>
>>>Evolution.
>>>
>>>A species that had mothers and fathers with no interest in their families well being would be eliminated by natural selection. The species that had interest in the well being of thier offspring, and society (schools of fish, packs of wolves, ect.) would leave more offspring behind and thus be the "fittest."

>>You remind me of the guy who took the rorsach test and everytime they showed him a flashcard, he said something that involved a naked woman. The therapist grew exasperated and finally said, 'it seems you see naked women everywhere.' The guy responded, don't blame me, they're your cards!<g>
>>
>>You see evolution in everything I guess. We'll have to agree to disagree on this issue. I've read several of the evolutionists propoganda and also investigate the things the other side has to say. I'm afraid I come down on the side of creationism. You might want to go to www.christiananswers.net and do a little research. Be careful though, you might start to see the light!<g>

>First of all, you didn't address my argument.

Your argument is specious. You can neither prove, nor disprove it. Therefore, it is only an argument.

>
>Think about it. Let's take Noah's Ark. On that Ark we'll put a male and a female of Lion type1 and Lion type2.
>
>The Lion type1 is genetically inclined to care for their young, make sure they are protected through infancy, properly nurished, and taught how to fend for themselves.
>
>Lion type2 lacks such compassion towards their young.
>
>If we assumed that these were the only differences in the lion, and we shipped them of the Ark onto a continent, 10 generations later, which species of lion do you suppose would be more populus on the continent? Does it not seem logical that the type1 would be?
>

According to the evolutionists theory, wouldn't they mutate and turn into some other life form? You're right, they wouldn't and they don't and that's the problem with that whole fairy tale. We experience evolution when a species grows marginally larger, or smaller based on envirnomental changes, IMHO.

>As far as seeing "evolution in everything" the truth of the matter is I see game theory in everything. Evolution is the biological application of an underlying school of thought called Game Theory. You may have heard of it if you have seen the movie "A Beautiful Mind." Economics, politics, life, technology, and knowledge are all studied from the perspective of Game Theory.

>I would appreciate it if you stopped being an idiot and either carefully explain why my answer to your question is a bad one, or accepted the answer to the question you asked. Your response that I should enlighten myself to the answers of Christianity offers simply will not cut it. Either you can provide rational discourse that explains your position or you cannot. So far, you have not.
>

You know you don't have to resort to name calling. You'll only wind up apologizing later.<g> I think your response is a bad one for the reasons I delineated above and in other messages on the subject (ad nauseum).

>As far as the "light" that Chirstianity may offer me, as you'll see in my previous message to Dean Hanson, I accept "God did it" as an answer to many questions. I simply accept evolution as the answer to "How did God do it?" on the origin of species.

I agree. I'm not dogmatic on how it all occured, other than to say that i don't think God created us from some single cell thing, then took us to tadpoles, etc. etc. etc. God could have done it any way He wanted. But, that's not the issue for me. My issue is the science has to square with what the Bible says and evolutionism doesn't. I believe the earth and all the rest was created in 6 days like the bible says. I don't think those "days" were 24 hour days though. I've often wondered if it wouldn't be possible for time to not be constant either. What if time accelerated and decelerated over thousands of years? What would that do to carbon dating? There are so many dimensions we can't possibly know or comprehend. This is the reason I scoff at people who are dogmatic about these theories. The bottom line is, God did it. How? I don't know, other that what his revealed word says and I try to frame my understanding to fit what He said. Why would He lie?
