Dragan,
I really do have to go, but as a Parthian shot:
I stated
I cannot see why an X would spend their life doing Y, then suddenly realize Z.
you responded:
Why wouldn't an X prefer Z to Y?
Why are you asking me?
Perhaps my not being able to "see" why an X would suddenly prefer Z, and your desire to know why an X wouldn't prefer Z rather than Y in the first place, are two sides of the same coin.
Wishing you a peaceful, moral Christmas ;-) and a Happy New Year,
Regards
j.R
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
